He's ready for a boat ride! Well, he doesn't love boat rides, but...
Last month we went on our annual trip to my family's lake cabin in Idaho. I finally found a life jacket for Myko this year, just in case. He doesn't like going in the water, so I'm not sure how great he can swim. Plus, some guy on the lake lectured me last year about him not having one.
He doesn't go for many boat rides and spends the time under my seat with a towel over him (thus, no picture of him in the boat).
But sometimes we take the boat to town, and once we get there he has so much fun and gets so much attention that I think it's worth the ride for him.
I love that it has a handle on top which makes it much easier to get him in and out of our boat.
Oh, and the brand is Outward Hound

I was wondering have any of you noticed the life jackets making your pets ribs and tummies sore? We bought Abbey one last month that's the same brand to protect her while she's out boating with us, but hers was the bright lime green one, but it didn't have the large logo on the side and it had a little flap under her neck. Anyway, we returned it, because when we'd lift her out of the water by the safety handle that's on the top, it made her ribs and tummy very sore for a few days afterwards. (and she only wore it in the water twice). I'd really like to find one that has breathable net on the underneath side.

9Txredd--I haven't noticed my dog's tummy or ribs being sensitive. But, I really don't use the handle feature that much. I LOVE it for getting him in and our of the boat, but that's the only time I use it. And we are only at my cabin for about 10 days each year.
Works for us! 
10I think Myko's become a bit of a ham because he knows just to sit still and let me get me shot and then he can relax
